Dr. Emma Lucas

Dr Emma Lucas is a Senior Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Warwick Medical School, based in the Tommy’s National Centre for Miscarriage Research and working as part of the University of Warwick’s Centre for Early Life. Her research focuses on identifying and understanding endometrial cell populations and how tissue composition changes contribute to reproductive failure.  Emma studied for a masters in Assisted Reproduction Technology at the University of Nottingham, staying on for her PhD research. She then moved to Southampton for her first Post-Doctoral position in Professor Tom Fleming’s lab, winning the SRF Post-Doctoral Prize in 2011. She moved to Professor Jan Brosens’ lab at the University of Warwick in 2012.

Outside work, Emma is busy chasing after her two small children, and guilty of always having too many DIY projects on the go at once!
