As of March 1st 2022, 42% of paid SRF members identified as Early Careers.
Consequently, in 2023 the number of Early Career Representatives (ECRs) elected onto the SRF Council increased from 2 to 4 individuals. ECRs are an interface between the EC members and the SRF Council, helping to represent the voice and interests of EC members so that their professional development needs and experience within the society remain a high priority. ECRs also organise the Early Career Symposium – which takes place during the SRF Satellite Day at the Fertility Conference – webinars and ECR Workshops; and each ECR serves on an SRF committee.
Whilst the majority of our EC members reside within the UK, we also have many EC members overseas, including 2 of our 4 ECRs.
We want to hear from our Early Career Members. Please email srf@conferencecollective.co.uk or email us individually (See the ‘Early Career Representatives’ page) if you have any questions or suggestions for your ECRs, for ways to enhance the experience we offer to our early career members.
