Royal Veterinary College, PhD studentship in canine embryology

The RVC are pleased to announce funding for a 3-year full time PhD studentship at the Royal Veterinary College based at the Hawkshead Campus near Potters Bar. The prospective student will utilise a range of assisted reproductive technologies to produce embryos from dog in vitro cultured oocytes. He/she will also investigate the molecular regulation of oocyte maturation

The studentship will cover tuition fees for home students, the BBSRC stipend which rises each year to match inflation and funding for laboratory costs.

We are looking to attract the best students from across the UK who may be eligible to join our team. Applicants should have/expect to achieve a 2.1 honours degree or its international equivalent in a biological/medical or veterinary science. Candidates with MSc degree in reproductive biology and working experience in assisted reproduction techniques will have advantage.
