A PhD position is available with the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney to investigate the role of the LY49B gene in early embryo loss in Thoroughbreds. Funded by AgriFutures, the project tackles unexplained early pregnancy failures in the Australian breeding industry.

Currently open to Australian applicants (international candidates may be considered after the first month).
