NON CLINICAL LECTURER IN REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE

We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Lecturer in Reproductive Medicine within our Reproductive Medicine Group. The candidate would make a significant contribution to our teaching, research and academic development.

We run a successful Taught Postgraduate Masters course in Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Conception and the appointed candidate, as Programme Director, will make a significant contribution to teaching and the academic development of the course. Moreover, the candidate will be expected to develop short courses in Reproductive Medicine/ART and develop distance learning Certificate/Diploma/Masters programs.

Your priorities will include:

Lead the Taught Postgraduate Masters in Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Conception, initiating and overseeing curriculum development and take responsibility for assessment.

Develop short courses in Reproductive Medicine/ART and a distance learning Certificate/Diploma/Masters course.

Supervise Research, Masters and Undergraduate students and contribute to the School’s academic and pastoral support of all students.

Contribute to the research activities of Medicine at the highest level (REF 3-4* quality) and publish in high quality research journals.

Participate in the social media, outreach and recruitment activities of the School as well as contributing to academic administration

Who we’re looking for:

PhD in Reproductive Medicine/Reproductive Biology.

Experience of teaching at University (or equivalent) level and evidence of learning and teaching competence.

Ability to produce research outputs of internationally excellent quality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability and willingness to work collaboratively with others.

Ability to prioritise and balance competing demands.
