The SRF’s mentoring scheme enables SRF members to seek advice from senior academics throughout their career. Contacting senior academics or colleagues for mentorship can seem daunting, and since not all establishments provide mentoring schemes, the SRF Public Engagement and Membership Committee would like to provide the opportunity for SRF members to obtain mentoring from other members in the society – who have already agreed to mentor.

Alongside the mentoring scheme, SRF are holding their second ‘Meet the mentor’ event at Fertility 2026 in Edinburgh. See event details below:

• Date: Friday the 9th of January 2026.
• Time: 08:00–09:00 AM.
• Location: Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Room TBC.

Come ‘Meet the SRF Mentors’ over an informal breakfast. This is a unique opportunity to network with senior academics and colleagues in person – don’t miss out!
