María Sol Martínez is a PhD candidate in Reproductive Immunology based at the Center for Research in Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology (CIBICI-CONICET), Faculty of Chemical Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. Her research focuses on the impact of chronic inflammation of the male genital tract on fertility, immune regulation within the female reproductive tract, and offspring health, using experimental models of autoimmune prostatitis.

Her interests include translational reproductive immunology and immune cross-talk between the male and female reproductive systems, with a particular emphasis on how inflammatory conditions influence implantation, pregnancy outcomes, and long-term health.
