WCRB 2017
The SRF was one of the 6 partner societies involved in organising the 4th World Congress of Reproductive Biology (WCRB 2017) which took place in Okinawa, Japan 27-29 September 2017.
The Congress, hosted by the Society for Reproduction and Development (SRD) brought together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their interests, experiences and research findings about all aspects of reproductive biology. The Congress provided plenary lectures, interdisciplinary symposia and oral and poster sessions for all the participants to present and discuss the recent trends and concerns in the field of reproductive biology.
The Congress was attended by 794 participants from 33 countries, approximately half of whom were Early Stage Researchers!
The SRF awarded bursaries to 34 of its members to support their attendance and was delighted to received feedback from many that the meeting ranked with the best they had ever attended! The Congress Facebook page http://bit.ly/2hJGI0L includes lots of fabulous photos.
The next WCRB meeting will take place in 2020.
