Early Career Workshop

Tuesday 7 January 2020 – Edinburgh, UK

The main focus of the meeting was to provide knowledge and guidance for those pursuing research and are classified as an Early Career Researcher.

We provided guidance on job applications, transferable skills, applying for fellowships, publishing, paper critiquing, managing people, public engagement, writing manuscripts, CV development and presenting

This workshop, whilst not being specifically focused to a reproductive theme, demonstrated the benefits of being an early career member of the SRF.

The skills obtained from attending the workshop provided enhanced understanding and ability within the research / academic sector and hopefully build confidence in those just initiating their career path.
