Call for nominations: Simmet Prize for Assisted Reproduction

The Simmet Prize for Assisted Reproduction is the most prestigious award in animal reproduction and the largest of its kind. The €50,000 prize recognizes outstanding basic and applied research in assisted animal reproduction. The prize is awarded every four years at the International Congress on Animal Reproduction (ICAR) and is sponsored by Minitube International.
The 5th Simmet Prize will be awarded at the 20th ICAR, to be held June 22-26, 2026, in Obihiro, Japan. Scientists at all stages of their career are encouraged to apply. The selection committee will evaluate the significance, originality, and impact of research over the past six years.
Join an elite group of previous awardees, including Dr. Cesare Galli (2008), Dr. R. John Aitken (2012), Prof. Katrin Hinrichs (2016), and Dr. Gabriel Bó (2022).
Nominations will be accepted until September 1, 2025.
