The Young Embryologist Network are inviting early-career researchers (PhD students or postdoctoral researchers) to share aesthetically captivating scientific images of embryos, organoids, stem cells, or anything related to developmental biology! The YEN 2026 Image Competition is your chance to showcase the beauty of your research to a wider audience!

The winners will be selected through a public vote held between 1 – 14 June 2026, alongside an honorary mention chosen by conference attendees on 15 June 2026. Follow us on [include social media details] to stay updated and vote for your favourite!

The winner and two runner-ups will be announced at the conference and receive awards for their achievement! These three images will also be used by YEN in future promotional materials, including posters and the YEN website. In addition, the top 10 images will be displayed throughout the YEN 2026 Conference!
