Conference Participation Guidelines

 The Joint Fertility Conference is committed to creating and maintaining a harassment-free
environment for all participants during all the conference activities, regardless of their actual or
perceived sex, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, race,
ethnicity, nationality, ability, socioeconomic status, age, or religion. All participants, including
delegates, speakers, committee members, exhibitors, venue staff, employers, contractors, volunteers,
and guests, are expected to engage in consensual and respectful behaviour and to always maintain a
high standard of professionalism.

Expected behaviour:
• Be direct and kind
• Make space for everyone: verbally and physically
• Be inclusive
• Take responsibility for your own actions

Unacceptable behaviour:
• Personal attacks
• Using derogatory language
• Sexual harassment
• Breaches of confidentiality
• Violence, threat of violence
