Dr Agnes Stefansdottir

Agnes is a Teaching-Track Lecturer in Reproductive Biology at Edinburgh University where she runs three courses on Reproductive Biology related topics. Agnes’ research is focused on investigating the direct effects of gonadotoxicants, including chemical compounds in cigarette smoke and chemotherapy agents, on the developing fetal gonads.

Outside of work Agnes enjoys baking, knitting, skiing and running – although these days most of the running is after her kids!
