Dr Adam Watkins is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham investigating the impact of paternal diet on sperm quality, embryo development, fetal growth and adult offspring health. Prior to taking up his lectureship at the University of Nottingham, Dr Watkins was a research fellow at Aston University and the University of Nottingham where he established his research into the paternal programming of offspring health. Prior to this Dr Watkins worked in the laboratory of Professor Tom Fleming where he investigated the impact of maternal diet on mouse preimplantation embryo development and offspring cardio-metabolic and behavioural health.
