Although the society is UK-based,
there are a substantial number of members from other
European
countries (18%) and the rest of the world (35%), thus
giving the society a true international
projection.

There are members from 38 countries, in 4 continents.
About 25% of members come from countries where
English is not the native language.
Students (graduate students, i.e. pursuing a PhD) make
up 10% of members of the society, with
several retired scientists (4%) still involved.
In the future, we are interested in learning more about
full members (82% of total), such as stages
in their careers, length of time as post-doc's, among
others.
